My first brush was an Omega 10065 I bought in 2010, which has softened up a lot over the years and is very comfortable with its long loft and softened tips. The scritch has been eliminated and due to its water retention properties it provides a good alternative to my synthetics.
I'd love to have another brush like this, except with a higher quality handle. Is there a high quality boar out there that will soften up just like my 10065? Also, if I prefer to face lather with creams, is a boar brush appropriate? I find that the longer loft of the boar tends to hog the lather a little (no pun intended).
