Merkur Progress the way to tranquility.

Hello!
Although I'm new to DE razors I'm not new to wet shaving.
I used to shave whith shavette for years.
I have a dry sensitive skin and a coarse beard.
After using Edwin Jagger 89 and Wilkinson Classic and finding the Wilkinson too mild and the EJ89 too aggressive,
I have used the Merkur Progress.
I have read a lot about the Progress and blade alignment problems and was skeptical that it was a good razor.
The Wilkinson Classic although made of plastic with metal inside the handle to add to it's weight is exeptional whell build and in my opinion for those who wont a mild shave is highly recommended.
The Edwin Jagger 89 on the other hand simply put is a piece of art. Beautiful and exeptional whell build as well.
But The Merkur Progress is in another league.
The versatility is a very big plus. It works with different blades, skin types or if you shave every day or once a week.
The ability to tune your razor makes this at least for me a winner.
In my opinion is very well built and no blade alignment issues.
This is the ultimate razor indeed.
Nirvana at last.
