Hello, I have today purchased a 1930s 'Velvet' DE Safety Razor on Ebay.
I am 75% confident that it takes modern DE blades.
Manufactured by Joseph Potter in Birmingham, England and sold through Woolworths in the late 1920s and 1930s.
Looks very much like a Ball End Tech but with long posts.
Will take 3/4 days to arrive, so in the meantime can anyone confirm that I can use regular blades with this Razor?
Or, if not, can anyone suggest a modification technique or inform me where I can buy suitable blades?
There is a more ornate Velvet model, but its not this one, its the safety bar Gillette copy.
