Help with a Canadian Gillette Tech

I have a Canadian tech which is stamped X-4 which I think might indicate a mfg. year of 1952, not sure on this. It is also stamped 1932.

Can anyone enlighten me on these makings & this razors history? It looks almost unused or very near that to me. I have no box or paperwork with this razor.
