I got into using the Feather cartridge razor for travel on the strength of the great performance of their DE blades. I'm getting at least 10 days out of the Neo MR 3 cartridges but reordering from Japan is a hassle and I see that Mach 3 cartridges from Amazon are actually a fair bit cheaper now.
I'm wondering if anyone out there has tried these side by side for an extended period and has any data on comparative performance. In the back of my mind as a frequent traveler is that while I'd rather support Feather there's no way to replace either the razor or cartridges when on the road whereas Mach 3's are easy to find almost anywhere. The heft of the Feather is a delight but unless you're based in Japan or thereabouts its an obscure item.
