I've got a Merkur Travel (closed comb) that I use for travel. Even though I rarely use it, I really like it. It works great for all of my standard blades, and for some reason works best with the Merkur blades (I rate those as "pretty good but not great" in other Merkurs or vintage Gillettes).
So, I'm wondering if there's a current Merkur razor that has the same head geometry, size, etc. as the Travel, but has a slightly longer handle, solid handle, etc. Something that might give the same results, but more suitable for every day use.
I have the 34C and Slant for comparison, they do not seem the same to me. Looking for other models.
Any new Merkurs matching head/geometry/etc to Merkur Travel?
