Nothing was unusual today. I did what I do everyday. I washed my face as usual. The razor was the same 38c I always use. The blade was a good old GSB, which has always treated me right before. I couldn't have made the soap wrong, because it was Barbasol. I let it soak the same amount of time as always. I even slept decent the night before after a couple of rough nights.
And yet the shavification process was awful. Hair pulled the whole time, couldn't cut anything, the angle and pressure that usually works suddenly doesn't, sensitive skin, left with bad stubble, etc.
Was the sacrificial goat I presented to the shaving gods not closely shaven enough, or what?
You ever just have a lousy shave for no good reason?
