Please recommend me a finishing stone

I'm relatively new to honing, and have a Norton 4000/8000 stone. That setup shaves, but not comfortably. I believe need a finisher.

I don't know what a coticule is, or whether they come in different grits, or where to buy one. Just so you understand my expertise.

But I have heard lots of good things about the Naniwa 12k. I found this 12000 on Amazon. It's a bit pricey, but would this solve all my honing needs as the ideal finishing stone? If you have a different suggestion, can you post a link to one you'd recommend, and why?
