As per the title concerning Wilkinson Sword blades.
Are there different factories, manufacturing blades of different quality for different markets ?
I'm in England and have used WS for a couple of years. I've used blades that came with WS Classic black plastic razor (as my starter kit), bought in a big high street pharmacy and a bulk buy from an online UK retailer.
I've loved them from the start - always smooth, comfortable and long lasting - 6/7 shaves and one blade went on for 28 + shaves - whatever the source.
However, recently I got another bulk buy (from a different retailer) and now they are terrible - scratchy and they don't last as long. Tried a new blade out of several packs but they all seem as bad. Same razor, soap, brush.
What's going on ? Anybody got any ideas Are there different factories ?
The blades come in 5's, black plastic pack, white cardboard top 'blade', individually wrapped in WS logo wax paper.
