This morning I noticed that my blade was pulling like crazy on my first stroke. I had noticed this my last shave which was terrible by the way, but I chaulked that up to a bad later, after having my shave interrupted post lather and I didn't re-lather. This morning I knew that was not the case. On a whim I turned the blade over. WOW no pulling or tugging. It was business as usual. FYI: This was the 2nd shave on this blade. I've been getting 5 or 6 shaves with no problem.
Do blades have a correct orientation in a razor? Is it different for different blades and or razors?
I noticed the Derby's have a 1 and 2 on one side and a 3 and 4 on the other. It worked better with the 1 and 2 towards the handle. Is this normal? (The last frame is blade loaded in EJ DEL8914BL.)
