Since breaking away from my AoS rut about a year ago, I've since tried Trumper's, TOBS, D.R. Harris, T&H, Castle Forbes....I've had great shaves with them (even if I think T&H's creams dry and flake out a bit too easily), but I'm always pleasantly surprised by just how good St James of London's creams are. I have a travel tube of their Cedarwood and Clarysage, and it gives me easily as much cushion as Castle Forbes, and seems to whip out as much as Trumpers.
I don't see the brand get a lot of "ink" on this forum...are they fairly obscure? I just ordered another sample set from them, as my scent memory forgot the other scents like Black Pepper and Lime.
