So, I understand the concept of beard reduction not removal. That said, I notice after I shave, my face (cheeks) have noticeable dark areas almost like a 5 o clock shadow. Chin and neck do not have this. I only shave WTG , two passes. Does this indicate I am not getting a close enough shave? I haven't done an ATG shave since the cart days and stopped then because of irritation, and never tried it again now that I am DE shaving (also used to shave before a shower, no beard prep, pretty awful. Thanks to this site I have learned the proper way to wet shave and the importance of prep). Don't think gear would be the issue, I use a Muhle R89 with personna blades.
