New to this, so will try to explain the best I can. Have been mostly bowl lathering, but the last few days I have face lathered. I have noticed that my brush gets kinda sloppy. Almost like the hairs fan out. I was still able to get a great lather, but was wondering if all brushes do this. Is this what "backbone" refers to? When the brush does not fan out?
