Shave soap/cream help

I've been having trouble with the Col. Conk soap, can't get it to lather nicely either on the puck or in a bowl and as a result I find its leaving my face feeling quite rough and irritated.



I had some samples of AOS, Lucky Tiger and TOBS so I figured I'd see if they made a difference. Well they did, had three nice close DFS's and even BBS on the cheeks after using the TOBS, was able to whip up really nice lather in the bowl and was generally happy.



Today went back to the Conk today and my face feels brutal. Lots of irritation and redness around the neck. So I'm looking to replace it ASAP. So I was hoping for thoughts on any of the AOS line, the TOBS or Lucky Tiger.



I do have semi-sensitive skin, so I was leaning towards the TOBS Jermyn St.

Smell wise, I'm looking for something a bit stronger and long lasting, the conk smell disappears quickly.

Good latherability, either in the tub or in a bowl. Something that won't take forever, but provides good slick protection

I don't really have a price range, I'd rather get a good quality product then try to save like I did with the Col. Conk
