Parker sonnets are not my favourite pens, I have owned four and had several in for repair, the problem has been that the gold ring just above the nib works loose because it holds the cap in place, as you pull the cap off it loosens the ring which allows ink into the cap. Had Parker made a threaded cap it would have been a success, for me at least.
