I'm traveling to France, Switzerland and Italy this month for 3-4 weeks. Can I safely carry a safety DE razor and a couple of blades, at least in the check-in baggage? Cream and aftershave balm(no alcohol) have to be placed in a plastic zip-locked cover/pouch I guess. Can I carry those in the cabin bag? What are the general rules regarding this? Same applies for purchases on return trip - planning to get a couple of FaTips, blades (whatever good I can lay my hands on) and Figaro tubs from Italy. Can be safely checked-in or can we carry boxed goods in carry-on bags?
I assume no such things to worry about in the internal train transits within EU.
P.S: Any specific wet-shaving purchase recommendations in France and Italy? FaTip and Figaro on top of the list. Do they sell La Toja sticks/cream and Musgo Real creams in France/Italy?
