What are your hobbies and favorite activities?Playing, collecting and restoring Andean instruments such as charangos and ronrocos, playing classical, flamenco, lap and pedal steel guitar, hiking and camping, kayaking, reading Latin American lit, listening to good music, cooking good food and then eating it.
What else should the members of B&B know about you?I really am totally blind from birth and proud of it. I always say I’m going to post pictures here but usually don’t out of fear of selecting and posting the wrong one in my phone! B&B (and straight razor shaving and maintenance in general) really helped me through a dark time in my life a couple of years ago in which lots of people in my professional life weren’t giving me a lot of credit or room for growth. That dark time has been over for a year now; I have an excellent awesome new job where people value me, am engaged to an amazing girl and still start pretty much every day off with putting my own edge to my face. I gig as a musician some nights, and Saturdays at the farmers’ market, and I really can’t get over the fact that you can just rub something against a rock until it’s sharp and then shave with it!!
