Just stumbled upon this site after looking around online. I was on the hunt for a better shave due to very sensitive skin and constantly knocking myself with cartridge blades. Having to go over the same spots 5 times years up my skin pretty bad. Lurking through this site I've started learning about pre shave oil, soaps, and after shave products to use. My better half got my a straight edge and the first week it looked like Edward Sissors hands got ahold of my face. Starting to get a lot better with it and more time spent with prep and lighter hand. Recently picked up 2 Gillette's (Codes L-4 and D-1) and even more excited. I was able to play with a Gillette adjustable before deciding to make this step. Excited to learn and read all the information on this site.
