First impressions of a Dorco Prime blade

Shaved with a Dorco Prime in a Schick Krona this morning. Might not be the best combination, a mild razor with a mild blade, but the shave was nice.

The Prime feels like an Astra SP after five or six shaves, when the sharpness is starting to drop off. Takes some care around the chin, and three full passes there to get it clean, but the result is great and there is no irritation at all.

Had to make four passes on the right side because the blade will not cut my stubble (which grows parallel to my skin there) unless I get the blade angle just right, but it feels fine after the shave.

Good blade for beginnners or for anyone with the time to do a full three pass shave -- have to work the stubble down, it's not super sharp, but it's very smooth and gives a very close shave if you pay attention to technique.

It was quite nice to have a clean face with no irritation at all! I'll see how long it lasts, maybe not as long as an Astra. Might even buy some more!
