Before I sat down to watch the American election results (No comments please), I wanted to start my evening with a nice relaxing shave. I tried a new technique, and really enjoyed it. Here's what I did ----- soaked my Semogue 610 in hot water in my ceramic shave bowl for about five minutes, then twirled the brush for about 30 seconds in my tub of Proraso Green soap. Instead of going straight to a face lather (my usual routine), I squeezed a small amount of Proraso Green tube cream onto the brush (already loaded with soap), and bowl lathered for about a minute. Wow !! One of the best lathers I ever had ! Then face lathered with this mixture for another minute, and had a smooth, comfortable three pass shave with my Maggard's MR5 - V.3 and a fresh Voskhod blade. Warm water rinse, cool water rinse, Alum block, final cool water rinse, Pinaud Clubman splash, and Nivea balm. Beautiful experience from start to finish!
Okay, now down to the TV room to watch the election results. Should be quite a night, but I feel relaxed with a smooth BBS face !
