Had a spare afternoon a few weeks back and visited a local smoke shop.
They were a little heavier on the cigar side of the shop vs the pipe side, but I still found a La Rocca pipe I liked.
They mostly had custom mixed tobaccos, no tins or pouches, so I grabbed a pretty stout blend called Devonshire and went from there. This stuff is a little on the wet side so I've been leaving it out for a few hours prior to use. No major issues, but it is pretty strong so I ordered a few other items to try online.

Dunhill - Early Morning, My Mixture 965, Nightcap
The Nightcap & Devonshire to me appear to be similar blends. Both are fairly dark and smell similarly.
I expected the flake & Early Morning to be much lighter, alas, when smoked they both seem fairly strong.
Did I just happen to get unlucky with my first pick and ghost my pipe?
New to pipes - all tobaccos tasting the same.
