I just got a sample pack of Captain's choice products. I don't see any soap on the market beating this fine soap as far as slickness & cushion.! I put an almond size dollop in my coffee mug & it took me about 3 minutes to get a rich thick creamy lather. I would order the Captains Choice Lather Bowl which would whip up the lather a lot faster but, I am on a meager pension. The soap is slicker than Italian Barber IMO. The Sandalwood scent was just right for me & my nose. I used an 7 O'clock blade with X8 shaves on it & got very close to a BBS shave due to the cushion & slickness of this soap. The Sandalwood aftershave smelled so nice my wife complimented me on the nice smell. The aftershave Balm went on a little greasy but, soaked into my skin after a couple minutes & just left a nice post shave feel with no greasiness left behind. Captain"s Choice makes A-1 products & I will definitely order more Captain's Choice soap for my shaving needs.
