Hi guys,
a few weeks ago it was again time to hone a few of my older straight razors. It's certainly not my first time honing these particular razors but after this session most of the razors feel rough on the skin when shaving with them.
They "bite" into the hairs pretty well so they got to descent sharpness but it's not really a joy to shave with them.
I've even tried giving most of them some extra treatment on my strop with some red and green paste but still they remain rough to work with.
My stone is a coticule combo btw.
Can any one give me any advice on what I might have done wrong, or how I might be able to rectify the situation?
