I would tend toward the Semogue. I have the huge 10048 or Pro 48, and a Semogue 830. The Semogue doesn't have the stink of the Omega, so that's why I would tend toward Semogue. My Semogue 830 is just a lot softer as well. Until I got a synthetic brush, the Semogue was my favorite brush. The Semogue is pretty darn soft though. After soaking in water, and loading with soap, the Semogue is just really soft, and definitely the softest among my animal hair brushes.
Semogue 830 or Omega 0065 boar brush?
