For me, is Plisson L'Occitane. I haven't tried Plissoft yet, but I guess that I will. I must say, the backbone is not a selling point for me. I found out that it's not needed. I can load any hard soap with my Plisson, the feeling on my face is great, and not applying too much pressure for the knot to splay is awesome too.
