It was a workhorse production run for Gillette in the mid to late 1950's (1956 B-3), and this set represents it well, as a mild, well-crafted razor.
The knurling not only provides for a secure grip, but to me, it's nostalgic, reminiscent of the golden age tail fin era of automobile styling.
The razor itself is not blindingly shiny, but it has no flaws, works perfectly fine, and it was only used a few times.
It's in a case that is completely functional, with only a mark on top of the case.
I recall that I paid $50 for it, and the previous owner said it had never been used. I would offer it for the same price.
I like having my razors cased, to display alongside other stuff, like brushes and soap.
Price: $50 (CONUS shipping included) Paypal.
