I occasionally buy watches from auctions, refurbish them and sell them on. Since I joined the ranks of the cut throat razor users, I have noticed vintage razors cropping up from time to time at the odd auction I frequent. Anyway this morning I was feeling in the mood to buy, so came up with the following, 2 are mother of pearl scales, the remainder ivory, especially like the 2 with the covered tangs. I'm thinking of keeping 5 of the ivory handled for shaving monday to friday, the 2 mother of pearls for weekends, adding 1 to my travel kit (replacing a Bengall which I am going to give to a young lad who works for me) and letting the rest go.
