I keep my cellar stock in air tight Ball jars in my basement. I keep my daily smoking stock in the small 1/2 pint jars with plastic reusable lids. A couple of weeks ago, I tossed nearly a whole tin of Balkan Sobranie because when I opened the little jar, I noticed some parts of it had turned grey. I just opened a jar of Margate and found the same grey strands of tobacco.
My question is, how do you tell the difference between mold and natural sugar crystals that form on tobacco.
