I have some friends that are really getting into this spirit. I've looked at some of the prices and they can be on par with the best bourbons and in some cases scotches. I had some "La Vida" in a Oaxaca Old Fashioned. While not my favorite mixed drink it was good.
What are some thoughts out there in The Speakeasy on this spirit? The equal of Tequila? Better? Worse?
