I spent my tax refund on a Celestron AVX mount that comes with a 6" Newtonian telescope, and I also sprung for a Nikon D5300, which will go to Lifepixel for the HA filter routine. my night sky images are gonna get a whole lot better!
oh, and if anyone is thinking about getiing into astronomy, the 6" and mount are a real steal @ $799
