I really like this pen. It has good weight, looks good, and writes smooth. My wife was impressed as well, and had to try it. It reminded her of her old fountain pen. Filed this away as a possible gift idea.
The one problem is that this pen is too good for work. I really don't want to get it scratched or banged up, and the barrel is too thick for all the junk I have to carry in my shirt pocket. My wife even suggested keeping it in it's case when not in use. It looks that good.
I went with the cartridge ink, and it bleeds through slightly more than the Sheaffer. The Pilot fine nib is just right; thinner than the Sheaffer fine nib, and leaves a good, clean, narrow line.
I'm tempted to look for Pilot Varsity pens for work, or go with Jinhao. I know they're cheap, but really, this is pen doesn't need to go where I have to go sometimes.
