Wandering around Dahlonega, GA last weekend, I was overwhelmed by a scent that I had not experienced in DECADES. This was old-school, no kidding, honest to God Barbershop smell, the likes of which I remember back from when I was a kid..WAY over a half century ago. Indeed this is no doubt what the soap manufacturers are trying to replicate, but of all the guys trying to recreate this scent, they're not even close.
This was coming from the open door of Woody's Barbershop on the town square.

You want a high & tight? Wash & Wear? Flattop? Here's the place to visit. You will probably run into some Army Rangers while you're there too. They have a not-too-public training base in the general neighborhood. Saw more than a few Mil-Spec haircuts coming out of the door.
If I only could have bottled that wonderful aroma.....
