So I can't seem to get the blade parallel to the top cap. I've tried putting the cap upside down and dropping the blade in, I've tried holding the blade in place, and I tried that youtube video where he pinches the blade edges to make a convex bow before tightening. When I tighten the handle the blade (GSB) always orient itself exactly the same way, slightly off parallel to the top cap. I've even loosened the handle slightly to try to push the blade in place and it won't.
My fiance thought I was stupid and tried herself. She even concluded that that's the only way the blade seems to fit in there, the same slightly off parallel orientation every single time. Did I get a defective razor, or do these blades just not align? What else can I try?
