Greetings, this is actually SWMBO, not babydials.
Walked into Pastuer's while there was some kind of a meet-up. Leon, the owner, was there. I had not met him before because he is usually there weekdays. He is very knowledgeable and super nice. As were the visiting wet shavers who were able to confirm that Beaver Woodright aftershaves are not heavy stingers (the babe does not like PAA aftershaves). Will from B&M brought his Mom, the Shalimar fan who inspired Night Music. He definitely knows his perfumers.
Actually that they had Beaver Woodright was news (no Queen Anne's Revenge). They also had some fall/winter seasonals I do not remember seeing last time like Tims Wassail (brought this home), Chiseled Face Midnight Stag + Cedar and Spice, B&M Dickens (wrapped up like a gift so it was not immediately evident what is was), and Gingers Garden Mandala and Old Dominion. They also had some new Tiki NY inspired shave soaps Big Apple, Soho, Broadway Baby (wish there had been an open one to sniff of this), and NY Cheesecake.
I have given up blaming the SO for the ever expanding selection of shave stuff crowding the cabinet. I think the fault is largely mine.
