I really don't know much about paint but I convinced myself to buy really expensive Sherwin-Williams Emerald and Cashmere paint for a couple rooms (it was on sale...maybe 40% off but that's still expensive) and wasn't super impressed.
I think I read somewhere that Behr was actually pretty good. Shoot for the middle and get that $29/gal Behr.
