Looking to buy a brush. My #1 criteria is that is does not shed.
I currently have two badger brushes (both custom made), and while the handles and the quality of the badger hair is excellent, the knots are just not well put together. They shed like crazy. So I'd like to buy one that doesn't.
I have a feeling the knot is shedding because the water I'm using is too hot. I use hot water when I lather (I'd say around 140-150F in temp), and I think it's weakening the knot glue. So are there any brushes out there that don't shed with hot water? Ideally I'd like to buy this brush, and never have to buy another one.
