Gents,
I happen now to have two Pro 49s. I like one and its getting broken it nicely. The other is un-used so far.
I find the 49 to be a good brush but think the loft is too much and it sometimes flops around when face lathering, a bit like painting the lather on.
I thought that reducing the loft by taking the knot out and refitting it 1/2 or 3/4 " lower in the handle would resolve the flopping nature of the brush. It would be an interesting bit of work for an hour or so one wet weekend if nothing else!!
My question is, how to remove the omega's knot? It appears to be sitting in some sort of cup, within the handle, so my plan might not work out as easily as I expected!!
Thanks :)
