Hi - New to B&B and here's my first question:
I got a new Edwin Jagger Best Badger brush for Christmas as part of my entree into wet shaving. However, the instruction pamphlet that came with it specifically says, "Do not use shave oil with a badger brush."
Was this to infer that you shouldn't apply shave oil with the brush, or am I denied the world of shave oil with this EJ? The latter would seem strange to me, but that's what the pamphlet states. (Haven't used a pre-shave oil but planning on it now that I have started with a DE razor.)
