Well, my Bunn coffee maker started leaking water, so it was time to replace it.
The Bunn did last me 8 years and still worked, it just leaked water after I closed the top lid.
I would have bought another but; it did have some short comings.
1) Coffee never tasted the same from pot to pot
2) Amount of water put in was not the same you got out. Sometimes I would get 2 cups, 2+ cups, or less than 2 cups of coffee.
3) Yes, it made a fast pot of coffee, and maybe that was it biggest downfall, as water did not spend enough time in the coffee itself, I have heard that Bunn has a different shower head to remedy this.
So, after looking and seeing what else is out there, I bought a Bonavita BV1900TS.
Using the same coffee that I was using at the time with the Bunn, which was Yuban. The coffee tasted much better. The only minor quibble was that I had to move from one outlet to another as it tripped the circuit breaker on the one that had the Bunn on.
So, if anyone here is looking for a good SCAA approved coffee maker the Bonavita rates high with me and the wife!
