I have three shaves under my belt and am very pleased with this razor. I haven't read much about it, I don't know that there are too many floating around out there.
The blade gap is fairly narrow, but it sticks out beyond the safety bar making it a very efficient steep angle shave. With light pressure, I achieved a very close comfortable 3-pass shave this morning. I think the narrow gap gives it a little less bite than if it were wider.
I picked this up from a member on another forum who did a nice replate in nickel, I've seen them anywhere from 50.00 to 150.00. I'd recommend picking one up if you've been curious. I think it's worth it.
