I'm looking for a new router. We have an older ASUS that is losing connectivity and doesn't connect will with devices in some of the rooms that are farther away. It's at least 4.5 years old. I did update the firmware, and that didn't seem to help.
I've scoured the net and am amazed at the lack of overlap on top 10 lists, been to Best Buy and Micro Center, and am now more confused than ever. I want to keep it around $150, but will go higher if it's worth it (hello, Apple). So, I'm wondering if any B&Bers do home networking and can recommend a good router that will be used primarily for streaming video and websurfing as opposed to online gaming.
