I think it would be cool if this feature was added to the full site. Tapatalk has this and I like it a lot.
The full site can only track the user activity but if you haven't posted in a thread for a while you don't know if anyone else has posted or how much activity that thread has.
With Tapatalk's participated feature the threads keep updating even though you don't post in them.
