Other day, i bought 2 cans of barbasol, sensitive skin and origianl. I shaved, and after, my left area around my eye, pimple size spots around left side of my face, and upper lip, ERUPTED!!! in a strong magma colored, raised, area. It didnt itch or hurt, but it was so visual unpleasant too see. I did research online, skin conditions, and narrowed it down, too contact dermatitis. I had thought i had something like psorisis or eczema. None of the 2 matched the complete description, just dermatits did. I do use all the time artisian and natural soaps and shmapoos when i bath..and those seemed to further aggitate the redness. which dod kind ahurt after a shower, for a few minutes.
I had some speik shave cream, i finishing up, and used that. No skin eruption. I seem to vagly remember using the yellow barbasol can cream, some 4-5 years ago, and same thing my left face erupted....
I had used barbasol when i was in my teens, started with colgate at age 15. Have used gillette, (the worst caned cream i ever used by the way)..and back in the day loved barbasol musk aftershave..which is gone now. Over the past 3-4 years ive gone completely natural when shaving, bathing, toothpaste ect. I am thinking i have desentiised my skin, body, immune system? Its apparent, thiers something about barbasol, that caused really really bad dermatitis with my skin.
Seeing if anyone else here has had the same? similar? experinces? is this normal with barbasol with alot of people? skin eruptions?:001_huh:
