Made the switch to DE safety razor saving around three weeks ago. I love my RazoRock XXX Shaving soap, and their Barber Pole razor. So far, i used Astra blades, Feather Hi-Stainless, and Personna (red). I use a badger brush from l'Occitanne (got it as a gift). And, I went for Clubman aftershave. So far, everything is going very well. I really enjoy shaving, and I shave way more frequently.
I had a couple of questions in mind. Firstly, how important is the pre-shave soap in giving you a smooth have, does it really make any difference? And I have been having this issue with whitish stains on my razor that I haven't been able to wash-off completely with water, ant thoughts?
