I'm a big fan of the DRH sandalwood shaving cream, but am wondering how the shaving soap compares. Any feedback from those who have tried one or both? I'm getting ready to place a sizeable order of DRH sandalwood products, and am wondering whether it makes more sense to spend my money on what I know, or throw in a soap to see what it's like.
FWIW, I'm familiar with DRH lavender shaving soap, although the stock I have dates back almost a decade. I don't know if the formula has changed any in that time. I like it well enough; in fact, I'd say it's one of my favorite shaving soaps. But on balance, I'm a cream guy.
