I've a modest collection of Razors (5 at current count) and I shave, 90% of the time, with my 1/4 hollow Hart. I feel like the heft and rigidity of the blade affords me freedom to, quite simply, hack my beard off.
Now comes the Revisor, a full hollow, that is nothing like the near-hollow of the gold dollar (which to me is closer to the 1/4 grind than hollow). It feels delicate, light and nimble. Yet, the shave feel is entirely different, it feels like I cannot simple hack through a shave as I can feel the edge flex and complain when I am too steep or use too much force (while the 1/4 or GD would simply keep working).
I've had to adjust my angle substantially on the hollow to a near flat angle for a comfortable shave.
Anyone else notice this?
