But I've been thinking about those who don't. One way to get past the odor is to use an older stick, as others have suggested.
But you should also consider the fact the the smell is totally different after the first lathering. If you can somehow get past that first hit and lather vigorously so you don't return to the stick for your 2nd or 3rd pass, you'll find that the lemon smell has totally evaporated and the smell wafting up from your brush on those later passes is very soft, gentle and almost feminine somehow. And of course you are not left with any lingering smell after final rinse when you're done shaving.
