Been doing the wet shaving thing for about 4-5 months now and been lurking all this time. Unfortunately I have caught what I think you call ASAD... I did some searching but can't really find anything specific regarding Italian The Genuine and Blue, so figured maybe time to stop lurking and post.
I live in Germany and picked up a 75mL Floid "The Genuine" several weeks back. I understand that this is the "Italian" Floid. Also based on the label having an Italian company listed. I love it.
I understand there are "Spanish" Floid (Suave and Vigoroso), as well as some others like Black and Vigoroso Special Edition, and Floid Blue.
In trying to get more info on the differences between all these versions, I cannot find ANYTHING about Italian Floids. Visit the webpage http://ift.tt/1lRv4Al and unless I'm missing something, I don't see The Genuine or Blue anywhere on that site. Seems only the Spanish Versions.
I visited the site on the back of the bottle (Colomer Italy SpA ) and get routed eventually RevlonPro then eventually to the Floid brand....where I cannot find anything on The Genuine or Blue.
So, what is going on here? Are the "Italian" Floids finished?? There were only 2 bottles of The Genuine on the shelf where I got mine, and I'm wondering if it has been discontinued? And I think maybe the Blue as well.
I might try to snag a Blue as they are still on some websites in the EU. I was going to maybe try the Spanish versions at some point, but if The Genuine is gone, wonder if I should maybe stock up as I really like it.
Would be a shame. I don't know if the Italian The Genuine is similar to Suave or Vigoroso (maybe I'd be happy having to switch), but I do know I really like it. Number 2 of the 7 or so I have on my shelf. Only the Alt Innsbruck is better (and the Alt Innsbruck is miles ahead of everything else, wow).
Anyone know what is going on?
