I've got a new soap available for $18 (plus shipping), based on a new formula. The scent is a subtle, earthy, almost spicecakey aroma. (Spend $40 or more and shipping is free for U.S. customers).
For this new formula, I took my existing recipe, dialed back the coconut oil added in avocado oil, and organic cocoa butter, and swapped beer for the water usually used in the soapmaking process. The scent includes Labdanum Absolute, Whisky, Vanilla Extract, Rose Absolute, Cedarwood Essential Oil, Geranium Essential Oil, Orange Extract, Organic Black Spruce Essential Oil, Juniper Leaf / Berry Essential Oil, which made for an intriguing mix, but once mixed with the soap, became much more subtle, as they were subdued by the cocoa and beer in the new formula much more than I thought they would be. The scent is still very pleasant, although it's warm and and almost foody.

Also, some of you may have heard about our first Stainlesss Steel Safety Razor, the BBS-1, which due to current demand and a very busy machinist, we are having a hard time keeping in stock.

I'm just sharing some pictures even though they're currently out of stock, because a) these razors are pretty nice looking, and b) if you would like to be added to the wait list, please just shoot me a PM or an email to john at lashavingsoap dot com and I'll add you to the list.
Thanks!
John
