Does DE blade in a shavette make a difference?

Hi there, have been DE shaving for quite a while, and recently got myself a shavette, I have had mixed results.

Was using the left over Derby blades, Crystals etc from a sampler pack.



Quick question, do different blades affect the shave in the same way they do with a DE?
